Which one should you choose?

Do you already have AvantGo on your handheld device?

If yes, you can easily add the ARUP Consult Channel at AvantGo.

Note: AvantGo is a free service that delivers thousands of mobile web sites to consumers on their handheld PDAs and smartphones. To learn more about AvantGo, please visit its web site at www.avantgo.com.

Do you have wireless internet access when you need it?

If yes, you can browse the ARUP Consult Mobile web site. If no, you must download a copy to your device.

Note: Some healthcare facilities restrict mobile connections. Even if you use the mobile web site, you can also install the AvantGo channel or the downloadable channel for those times when mobile connections are not available.

Do you prefer to download ARUP Consult wirelessly or through a cable?

The ARUP Consult Channel at AvantGo can be installed either wirelessly or through a cable, while the ARUP Consult Downloadable Channel can only be installed through a cable.

Note: Although the downloadable channel can only be installed through a cable, after installation the content can be updated (synchronized) wirelessly at any time.

Do you have a BlackBerry?
