AvantGo and M-Business Client on Same Device
You may install both the AvantGo client and the direct ARUP Consult® download (which uses the M-Business client) on the same handheld device. However, there are a few important considerations.
The icon for the client you install second will replace the icon for client installed first. For example, if you install AvantGo first, then install ARUP Consult, the M-Business Client icon will replace the AvantGo icon on your device. The M-Business icon will function just as the AvantGo icon did.
The second icon will be used to access both AvantGo and ARUP Consult. This means that you will have to switch back and forth between the two services.To switch between the services, follow the instructions below.
For Pocket PC devices
- Tap on the small, black "up" arrow on the tool bar (bottom of screen, right of home button)
- A list of the services will appear
- Select one or the other to switch between services
For Palm OS devices
- Tap on the small button on the top menu bar (right of the title bar). Note: It looks like two rectangular shapes to the right of a small "down" arrow
- A list of the services will appear
- Select one or the other to switch between services
Note: When you synchronize, both AvantGo and ARUP Consult will be updated.
